Kent Adhesive Products Co. (KAPCO), Kent, OH, has Joyce McCauley as new plant manager following the retirement of Larry Davis, who served with the company for 10 years.

McCauley joins the KAPCO team with more than 20 years of manufacturing experience. She has held several positions since the beginning of her career as an industrial engineer including production manager, materials manager, manufacturing services manager, manager productivity improvement and supervisor outsource planning.

Her knowledge acquired from working in the manufacturing industry will be a great asset for her new role at KAPCO, the company says. She will be responsible for overseeing the plant operations including production, personnel and building maintenance. When asked about her transition from working in the injection molding industry to a custom coating and converting facility, McCauley conveyed her ease between the two, “The key critical measurements are the same. When looking at any production or manufacturing company you consider scrap, downtime and utilize your equipment for optimum efficiency.”

KAPCO President Ed Small adds, “We’re pleased that Joyce decided to join KAPCO. She brings years of manufacturing experience and knowledge along with a fresh perspective. I am looking forward to working with her as she works to improve our current manufacturing processes.”

McCauley obtained her undergraduate degree in Industrial Management with a concentration in Production from The University of Akron and MBA from Ashland University.
